The weather has changed here in Dublin and in the last couple of days we have had glorious blue skies, smell of spring in the air and first spring flowers. I usually go for bright colours and high contrast but the advance of spring brought me cravings for florals, pastels and airy crochet. I put away my knitting needles, ordered some Rico Essentials Cotton DK, one of my favourite cotton yarns which comes in fantastic range of colours, and I’m making spring hats for my girls. I’m hoping for a vintage, shabby chic look inspired by old French rose postcards. And the lovely sunshine, of course!
